On July 12, 2019, a fatal road accident occurred along Kangundo Road near Mama Lucy Hospital, claiming the life of a boda boda operator.
The motorbike, which the operator was riding, was hit by a trailer while he attempted to overtake another boda boda operator.
According to eyewitnesses, this is not an isolated incident, with more than four people having lost their lives since the reconstruction of the Kangundo Road.
The driver of the trailer has been taken to Buruburu Police Station for questioning.
