July 12, 2019, marked a significant day for Vivian, a talented female artiste, as she reflected on her journey from a humble beginning to stardom.
According to Vivian, making it in the music industry was not an easy feat. She has narrated how she struggled to get to where she is today, and her story is a testament to the power of perseverance and humility.
"Everyone has those moments where you find yourself entangled in wrong circles, wrong friends who introduce you to habits that ruin your life," Vivian wrote in a past social media post. "A couple of years back, I was in the wrong relationships, confused about my purpose, angry at the world, hustling to make ends meet."
However, Vivian's life took a dramatic turn when she met Pastor Pete Odera of The Waterbrook Church. He accepted her for who she was and walked with her, encouraging her and never judging her despite her messy situation. He even cheered her on and appreciated her songs, including "Same Girl".
Years later, Vivian is grateful for Pastor Pete's influence in her life and attends church services regularly on Sundays.
Looking back at her past, Vivian shared a photo of herself when she was broke and ashy, selling cups, plates, and thermos to make ends meet. She had a piece of watermelon as her lunch that day.
"Anytime I take a look at this picture, it reminds me to be more humble," Vivian said. "Why should I really boast? By then things were so tough on me. I hadnt started singing. I was a mali mali seller. I sold cups, plates, thermos to make ends meet. The piece of watermelon was my lunch that day. Surely never despise humble beginnings. I look at my life and all I can say is God reigns over our lives. Your current situation is not your future. There is always a brighter day ahead."
Fans reacted to Vivian's post, with some expressing admiration for her humility and others sharing words of encouragement.
