July 12, 2019 - Android smartphone users have a reason to celebrate as Android Messages, the Google-owned messaging app, is now available in beta.
For those familiar with Android Messages, joining the beta program is a straightforward process. Simply head to the Google Play Store, find the Android Messages app, and scroll down to the 'Join the beta' section.
Tap on 'JOIN' and you'll be granted access to the beta program, which comes with the usual caveats - beta software can be unstable and not ideal for daily use. However, being part of the beta program does grant you access to new features ahead of everyone else, making it a great option for those who enjoy living on the edge.
