While accompanying President Uhuru Kenyatta to inspect the restoration and beautification of Kibarani, Kenyans noticed a significant change in the governor's hair.
Photos circulating on social media showed Joho's back head looking different from his usual style.
According to Joho's barber, George Dufanda, the governor pays him Sh10,000 for a shave, as seen in a November 28, 2018, post on Instagram.
Netizens were quick to speculate about Joho's new hairstyle, with some joking that it was a new trend in town.
Others defended Joho, saying people were being unfair to him even on haircuts.
Some even shared their own experiences of having their hair cut in a similar way, with one person joking that Joho had been 'married to the clippers'.
