Kenya Communications Sports Association (KECOSO) is set to hold its 40th edition in Kisii County from August 10th to 17th. The event has received a significant boost from local insurance brokers Minet Kenya, which has sponsored half a million Kenya shillings.
Speaking during a ceremony at Minet Kenya's headquarters in Nairobi, CEO Sammy Muthui stated that the company identifies with KECOSO's efforts to promote sports in Kenya and encourage wellness among staff through sports.
KECOSO General Secretary Omole Asiko confirmed that preparations for the games, which will begin with a golf tournament at Kisii Golf Club on July 27th, have been completed.
KECOSO brings together various government ministries and parastatals, including the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development, the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology, and the Ministry of Sports, Culture and the Arts.
