On June 29th, 34-year-old Benson Wachira, a student at the University of Duisburg-Essen, disappeared in Germany, leaving his family in a state of distress.
According to reports, Wachira had left work in Monchengladbach to visit his uncle in Mettmann, but he never returned. His family has been searching for him ever since.
Wachira was last seen wearing a grey pair of shorts and a grey and black striped polo t-shirt. His family is worried sick about his disappearance and is seeking help from the authorities to find him.
Unfortunately, the police have reportedly done little to help the family trace Wachira. His family is now appealing to the public for any information that may lead to his safe return.
Wachira's disappearance comes just months after the tragic case of Rita Awour Ojunge, a 32-year-old Kenyan woman who went missing in Germany in April. Her skeletal remains were found in a forest near Hohenleipisch in May.
