However, things took a turn for the worse when Pam met a man at her workplace and became instant friends. Lilian noticed a change in Pam's behavior, and she soon realized that her lover was developing feelings for the man.
As the relationship between Pam and Lilian began to crumble, Pam started to praise the man and describe him as caring and relentless. Lilian knew that the foundations of their relationship had been shaken, and she tried to hold on, but it was too late.
Pam eventually moved on with the man, and Lilian was left heartbroken. She got drunk for the first time that day and wished to die rather than go through the pain of seeing the woman she loved go.
