July 12, 2019, was a day Dennis Itumbi would never forget. The State House head of digital was in police custody, and his experience was nothing short of bizarre.
Itumbi shared his story on Facebook, recounting how he met a fellow inmate who was high on bhang. The inmate, who Itumbi referred to as Jose, was threatening to 'kill the government'.
Itumbi and his cellmates were shocked by Jose's confession, and they asked him how he intended to kill the government. Jose's response was hilarious, claiming that the government was frustrating Jah's economy by not allowing people to smoke bhang.
However, it was later discovered that Jose was not smoking bhang at all, but rather dried eucalyptus leaves that had been mildly burnt and rolled into a paper.
Itumbi's encounter with Jose was a stark reminder of the absurdity of life in police cells. Despite the chaos and uncertainty, Itumbi and his fellow inmates found humor in the situation, and they even burst into laughter when Jose's true intentions were revealed.
