On July 12, 2019, the Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB) renewed the licenses of seven betting firms, including Betlion, which launched its operations in Kenya the previous year.
These firms have met all the requirements set by the BCLB, paving the way for them to continue operating in the country.
The other firms whose licenses were renewed include Odibets, Betpalace, Mcheza, Kwikbet, Betika, and Gamemania.
