July 12, 2019, marked a significant day in Tanzania as East Africa's biggest baby daddy, Diamond Platnumz, embarked on a mission to raise awareness about the dangers of unprotected sex.
Speaking at an awareness rally organized by Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) and Tume ya Kudhibiti Ukimwi Tanzania (TACAIDS), Diamond emphasized the importance of practicing safe sex to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS.
'This is the right time for me to retrospect and give advice to my peers and those who love my music,' Diamond said. 'If we were to practice safe sex, we would make strides in reducing infections and the spread of the disease.'
The Bongo star also cautioned women against men who insist on unprotected sex, urging them to be aware of their intentions.
'Women, ask yourself, why is he forcing or pressurising you into unprotected sex? If you have not agreed to have a baby, say no, be cognisant that he has ill motives against you or wants to force you into motherhood,' Diamond advised.
As the Wasafi Boss, Diamond feels a sense of responsibility to educate his fans across the world, using his talent to reach out to his fellow youth and add knowledge to their lives.
