Driving on Thika Road can be a harrowing experience, especially for those in smaller vehicles. As a driver of a 1300cc car, I've faced my share of aggressive drivers, who seem to see me as invisible.
It's not just the buses that are a problem, but also the way they're driven. Their scarred façades are a testament to the dangers of the road, and their drivers seem to have a disregard for the safety of others.
One day, I found myself sandwiched between two buses, with one behind me and another in front of me. I shouted and waved, trying to get their attention, but they didn't seem to notice me.
It's a sobering realization that these drivers see through small cars, and it's in our best interest to get out of the way or sit tight and die with quiet dignity.
So, I propose a solution: separate lanes for smaller vehicles and buses. This way, the weak and meek can coexist with dignity and safety, while the drivers of big cars can have their own space.
It's a simple yet effective solution, and one that could make a big difference on our roads.
