On August 4th, Kakamega High School will welcome over 100 young footballers and 50 coaches for a holiday camp, facilitated by Edukick coaches.
Organized by Green Commandos Sports Club, the event aims to develop young players and provide a clear playing pathway for them to progress into professional football.
Former Real Sociedad coach Roberto Navajas will lead the team of trainers, conducting training sessions for the coaches in the first week and the youths for the entire two weeks.
The targeted youth categories will be U11, U13, U15, U17, and U19, according to Green Commandos Sports Club chairman Isaac Kwoba.
Registration will be on a first-come-first-admitted basis, with a limit of 100 players and 50 coaches to avoid logistical challenges.
Former Kakamega High School players, including Simon Mulama and Eric 'Marcelo' Ouma, will be part of the camp, mentoring upcoming talents.
