Published on July 11, 2019, Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz has advised men in Kenya and worldwide to use protection during intimacy, warning that those who do not are driven by bad intentions.

Speaking at a campaign to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, Diamond Platnumz told women to avoid men who do not use protection during intimacy, saying they have bad intentions.

According to Diamond Platnumz, men who want to engage in unprotected sex with women are driven by bad intentions and should be avoided by women.

He made the remarks after being asked about the contribution his group, Wasafi, would make to reduce HIV/AIDS infections in Tanzania.

Wasafi has partnered with the Tanzania AIDS Control Board (TACAIDS) to promote the use of condoms and prevent HIV/AIDS infections.

The group also plans to spread the message through its annual Wasafi Festival.

"We men lead by example by encouraging women to engage in protected sex. When women refuse, it is a sign that men have bad intentions," Diamond Platnumz said.
