World Cup Champions Celebrate in New York City ¶
On Wednesday, thousands of fans gathered in Lower Manhattan to celebrate the United States women's national soccer team's World Cup title in a ticker-tape parade.
The team, led by captain Megan Rapinoe, rode along the Canyon of Heroes in a festive atmosphere, waving to fans and enjoying the confetti and champagne.
