On a fateful Monday, July 8, 2019, Ohangla musician Lady Maureen entrusted her employee, Jandhiwa, with Ksh. 56,000 to deposit into her account at the bank. However, the employee had other plans.
As Lady Maureen waited in her car due to a long queue, Jandhiwa sneaked out of the bank, went home, and took off with the family, leaving behind the singer and her money.
With Jandhiwa's mobile phone switched off, Lady Maureen has turned to the public for help in tracking down the errant employee. A reward of Ksh. 3,000 has been offered for any useful information leading to Jandhiwa's whereabouts.
Connie Kabarry, a well-wisher, has taken to social media to share the story and appeal for help in finding Jandhiwa. The singer has also filed a complaint at the Savannah Police station.
