Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones has made a surprising revelation about the cost of shooting music videos abroad. In an interview, he shared that his latest music video, 'Leave me Alone', was shot in Dallas and Houston, Texas, for a mere $100,000.

According to Jones, shooting music videos in the US is significantly cheaper than in Kenya, where he would have had to pay for various permits and other expenses. 'Leave Me Alone' was shot in the US a day before Jones returned to Kenya, he said.

When asked about the cost difference, Jones explained, 'I spent less than Sh100,000 because unlike Kenya, where if I want to shoot a video, I have to pass through so many limitations, but in the US, I did it freely, with no one asking me to pay them for the places I was shooting at.'

For context, shooting a music video in Kenya would have cost at least a million shillings, while normal videos cost around 300,000 shillings.
