AFC Leopards have suffered a significant loss with the passing of Joram 'Bishop' Akonje, a die-hard supporter who was a familiar face at the team's games.
According to reports, Bishop was found dead on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at Kima market in Vihiga county, western Kenya.
He was last seen leaving his home in Mathare for his rural home in Bunyore, Vihiga, before returning to the city.
Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
Fans, including former Leopards captain Duncan Otieno, have taken to social media to pay tribute to the devoted club supporter.
