On July 10, 2019, State House director of digital Dennis Itumbi was released on a cash bail of Sh. 100,000.
Magistrate Zainab Abdul ordered Itumbi to report to Muthaiga Police Station every two days, excluding weekends, before the mention of his case on July 22.
Abdul also instructed the prosecution to release Itumbi's phone after a period of 14 days.
The prosecution had requested a nine-day extension of Itumbi's detention, which the magistrate declined.
