Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Leak: Skipping the Tab S5?

Published on July 10, 2019, a leak from Samsung-centric publication SamMobile suggests that Samsung may be skipping the Galaxy Tab S5 and directly releasing the Galaxy Tab S6.

Leaked images reveal the boot logo of the device, confirming the name – Samsung Galaxy Tab S6. The tablet will run on Android 9 Pie with One UI out of the box, despite the possibility of its release around the time Android Q arrives.

Other leaked specs of the Galaxy Tab S6 include a 10.5-inch AMOLED display screen, a Snapdragon 855 processor, at least 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage on the base model. The S Pen will also make a return, with a magnetic groove on the rear for attachment and charging.

The Galaxy Tab S6 will come in two variants – a Wi-Fi-only model (SM-T860) and an LTE model (SM-T865) – and will be available in Brown, Blue, and Grey paint jobs. A keyboard cover accessory is also reportedly in the works.
