On August 25, 2019, a baby shower for Tanzanian singer Diamond Platinumz and his partner Tanasha Donna turned into a spectacle at the after-party.
A Nigerian admirer of socialite Vera Sidika attempted to win her affections by ordering a bottle of champagne and requesting a bartender to deliver it to her.
However, the bartender was unable to complete the delivery after being accosted by Diamond's Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) members, who told him to 'get lost'.
The WCB members justified their actions by claiming they were ambassadors of the French brand Belaire, with Diamond being the only artiste from WCB to hold an official ambassadorship with the company.
According to Vera, the Nigerian admirer 'didn't care that bae was there,' referring to Diamond's presence.
As the evening progressed, Diamond and his friends moved the party close to the deejay booth, where they jammed to songs and even popped a bottle of Belaire wine, emptying its contents to the crowd.
