Published on July 18, 2019, Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime Pro 2018, also known as Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro 2018 or Galaxy J2 2018 in other markets, has received the June 2019 security update in quick succession.
Although the device is scheduled to receive quarterly security updates, Samsung has released the June security patch just a few weeks after the May 2019 security update was released.
The changelog for the new update doesn't mention anything more than the June security patch, but it's possible Samsung is addressing something critical in the previous update.
For those who own the Grand Prime Pro 2018 handset, watch out for a software update with version J250FXXU2ASG1. It's still based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, the OS that powers the device out of the box.
