Comedian Njugush's marriage is in crisis after he was caught cheating on his wife Celestine at the Miss Kenya Plus World 2019 pageant at Garden City Mall.
According to reports, Njugush attended the event to support his wife's friend Neomi Nganga, but he ended up causing friction in his marriage.
When he saw one of his favourite models, he couldn't help but scream with excitement, prompting his wife to record him.
Celestine posted the video on social media and gave Njugush an ultimatum, saying 'hapendagi ujinga' (what a foolish thing to do).
She locked him out of the house that Saturday night, leaving Njugush with no option but to humbly ask for forgiveness.
He begged, saying 'I am here to ask for forgiveness. Mosquitos have really bitten me all night. And the boys club are laughing at me.'
However, Celestine was not falling for it and shot back at him, saying 'Stop distracting me away from the problem. What were you doing at a plus size event? And then what made you scream so loud at the event?'
Njugush defended himself, saying he did not even notice the girls and his cheering was purely inspired by the splendour of the decor and the lights.
It is not clear if Celestine fell for his excuses, but Njugush has a lot of explaining to do to get back on his wife's good graces.
