A woman, reportedly struggling with domestic issues, attacked her husband David Gitau with an axe while he slept, before killing her two children and ultimately hanging herself.
According to Geoffrey Mwangi, the area's Nyumba Kumi Chairman, the couple had sought his help to resolve their marital problems, but it seems their efforts came too late.
The gruesome discovery was made by neighbors, who condemned the horrific incident.
The bodies of the family members were found, leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions and a community in shock.
