On January 15, 2022, Raila Odinga's presidential campaign rally at Thika Stadium in Kiambu County was more than just a political event for some Kikuyu celebrities.

Organisers of the rally hired top musicians and emcees, including Samidoh, Jose Gatutura, Ben Githae, and Sir James, as well as comedian Muthee Kiengei, to entertain the attendees.

Ben Githae's electrifying performance at the rally has been making waves on social media, with some netizens praising him as a smart businessman who knows where to find income.

However, Muthee Kiengei, who is also a pastor, faced criticism from some social media users who questioned his moral integrity for taking on a gig that involved setting up the stadium and providing the sound system.

In response, Kiengei argued that it would be foolish to reject a gig just because he is a pastor, and that he is a businessman and investor who should be able to make a living.

He also claimed that he landed the deal with Azimio la Umoja through divine favour, and that it is in God's favour that he was able to secure the contract.
