Published on July 9, 2019, Nairobi School in Kenya is facing allegations of bullying that has left a Form Two student in dire need of surgery.

The student was allegedly assaulted by school prefects, leaving him with severe injuries.

According to relatives, the boy is currently waiting to undergo a surgery, and his parents have expressed frustration over the school's handling of the situation.

The parents received a call from the school last week informing them that their son was unwell and needed to be picked up.

However, upon picking him up, they found him in a state of distress, with most of his uniform dirty and unkempt, and even experiencing bedwetting, a behavior he had previously outgrown.

The boy's mother shared her concerns in a WhatsApp group with other parents, stating, "... I'm looking at our son now and I can't believe Nairobi school has wasted him so much. We have to supervise him even as he eats and brushes his teeth."

She also revealed that the boy had told a friend that he was being beaten by prefects all over his body, but mostly his head, and was afraid to tell his parents for fear of further punishment.
