Published on July 9, 2019, a bizarre incident has left residents of Rongo, Homa Bay County, in shock. A man, Otieno Ong'ondo, 45, returned home on Sunday with a chilling story of being abducted by witches.

Ong'ondo went missing on Saturday after leaving home for Kisii and was found at 2 pm the following day. His father, John Achila, revealed that since his return, the man has been communicating only in writing.

According to Achila, Ong'ondo told his family that he was abducted by a group of witches from Kisii who walked him through a graveyard. The witches allegedly slapped him using the dried hand of a dead man after walking through fresh and old graves.

The man was abducted by unknown people who were in a Probox car as he walked back home. He told his kinsmen that he was placed inside a box at the time he was captured and then released at night.

The family is seeking help from well-wishers and anybody with knowledge on reversing the spell, as they cannot afford to take the victim to a hospital due to financial constraints.
