July 9, 2019, marked a significant change in Lillian Muli's hairstyle as she unveiled her edgy new look after shaving off her sister locks.
Before making the bold move, Muli had been rocking sister locks, a smaller version of traditional locks, which she had been hiding under her wig cap.
However, she has now chopped off her sister locks for an edgier look, citing that they thinned after childbirth and she had to start from scratch for a fuller look.
"I shaved my locks because they thinned after I had a baby...I will miss them though. You live once have fun while you’re at it. Do stuff that makes you feel good," she wrote on Instagram.
Her new look has been a clear favourite among fans, with many praising her for looking much younger and beautiful.
"Lilian you look sooo hot," wrote Inoroo TV's Muthoni Wa Mukiri, while former KTN anchor Cynthia Nyamai commented, "I love it I’m so tempted to copy."
Unbeweavable Hair Kenya, a brand owned by Lillian Muli's best friend, has also been associated with her new look, with the brand announcing her as its face months ago.
