Pursepective: A New Podcast on the Block ¶
Launched in June 2019, Pursepective is a podcast series created and hosted by Adelle Onyango, a former radio personality known for her advocacy on youth empowerment, mental health, and gender equality.
On July 9, 2019, Pursepective premiered with a 2-hour live viewing at the K1 Klub House, featuring a panel discussion on femicide and victim blaming/shaming.
Each episode of Pursepective brings together a group of panellists to discuss ways to achieve a more equitable society, with a focus on gender equality and women's empowerment.
Adelle Onyango has described Pursepective as a safe space for women to share their experiences and perspectives on living in a patriarchal society.
