On July 6th, Rwanda's first daughter, Ange Kagame, married the love of her life, Bertrand 'Billy' Ndengeyingoma, in a private ceremony. The couple had previously exchanged vows before a local government official in Kigali on an earlier date.
Photos from the intimate wedding ceremony have been shared, showcasing the couple's joy and happiness. President Kagame walked his daughter down the aisle, and the couple was surrounded by their loved ones.
Billy, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology-trained urban planner and architect, is currently a PhD candidate at the London School of Economics. Ange, on the other hand, holds a Master's Degree in International and Public Affairs from Columbia University's School of International Public Affairs.
Earlier last year, the couple had their traditional giveaway ceremony at President Kagame's rural home.
