On July 8, 2019, Alisson Becker made history by becoming the first goalkeeper to win three Golden Gloves in a single season.

Alisson's impressive campaign with Liverpool in the Premier League and Champions League earned him the Golden Glove award for the Anfield giants last season.

He kept an impressive 21 clean sheets in the Premier League and six clean sheets in the Champions League, making great saves throughout the season.

Alisson's success continued in the Copa America tournament, where he kept five clean sheets as Brazil won their ninth South American title.

Before letting in a goal against Peru in the final, Alisson was on a nine-consecutive clean sheets streak for club and country.

Despite being a strong contender for the Ballon d'Or, Alisson has modestly played down his chances, saying, "I just limit myself to doing my job," and "There are a lot of top players aspiring for that prize. I'm just a goalkeeper."

Alisson's achievement is a testament to his hard work and dedication to his craft.
