Reggae fans in Nairobi were left disappointed after a recent concert by the renowned artist Jah Cure.

Despite his efforts to engage the local audience with a touch of Kenyan culture, Jah Cure's 2-hour performance at the Umoja Splash Festival on Saturday night failed to impress.

The show, which was preceded by performances from several Kenyan artists, including KRG The Don and Bensoul, was marred by poor sound quality and long delays between outfits.

Some fans also reported that the concert organizers ran out of liquor, which added to the overall disappointment.

Before the concert, Jah Cure had toured local tourism attractions and participated in a clean-up exercise in Mihango, Kayole.
