On June 6, Huawei announced the availability of the Y9 Prime 2019 in Kenya, and it has been available for pre-order since then. The device is now available in stores countrywide, and customers can purchase it from most mobile phone retailer shops across the country, as well as from Huawei branded shops.

As reported by Techish Kenya, the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 has been available for pre-order since June 6, and it has managed to score over 1000 pre-orders during the pre-order period. This is a significant achievement, especially considering the challenges Huawei has faced since the American ban.

One of the key features of the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 is its display, which measures 6.59 inches and has a resolution of 2340x1080p. The device also features a triple-camera setup, with a 16MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera is a 16MP sensor with a pop-up design.

Other notable features of the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 include a 4000mAh battery with 10W fast charging, a rear fingerprint scanner, and face unlock. The device also supports dual SIM and has a USB type-C port.

According to Huawei, the Y9 Prime 2019 will continue to receive updates, and it still has all Google services and necessary Google apps installed. The device is available in three colors: Midnight Black, Emerald Green, and Sapphire Blue.

As of the publication date, July 8, 2019, the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 is priced at KES 24,999, and customers can purchase it from Jumia.
