December 10, 2021, marked a significant milestone for Naivas Supermarket, as the company officially opened its 79th store in Embakasi, Kenya.

The store, located at Road B off Airport North Road, is part of the company's strategic expansion plans to increase its presence across the country.

Naivas Chief Commercial Officer, Willy Kimani, emphasized the company's commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, stating that any unit that is not profitable is put on the radar and may be closed.

According to Kimani, the company listens to customer feedback before opening new stores, ensuring that they meet the needs of their customers.

"We check unit by unit. Every unit has to be profitable, any that is not profitable is put on our radar. Am happy to report that all the 79 stores are profitable. We cannot shy off from shutting down unprofitable units," said Kimani.

Kimani also announced plans to open the Greenspan store this month, as well as work on the Imara project.
