On July 7, 2019, Kibra Member of Parliament Kenneth Okoth made a triumphant return to Kenya after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Okoth had sought treatment in France, where he received medical care for his colorectal cancer.
At his first public appearance since his return, Okoth was met with love and admiration at the Annual Kibra Music Festival.
Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja was among those who attended the event, praising Okoth for his dedication to his constituents.
Ken Okoth's bravery in the face of adversity has inspired many, with Kenyans standing in prayer with his family.
