Six Students Arrested Over Alleged Dormitory Burning Plot in Siaya

On Saturday evening, police in Bondo, Siaya County, arrested six students from Usenge High School for allegedly planning to burn down a dormitory.

According to Bondo Sub-county Police Commander Anthony Wafula, the students were found in possession of a matchbox and petrol in a five-litre jerican during a school inspection.

After discovering the petrol and matchbox, the school administration involved the police, who apprehended the six students and held them at Usenge Police Station for further investigation.

The students are expected to be arraigned in court on Monday.
