Kenya's football community is mourning the loss of a legend, Joe Kadenge, who passed away on Sunday at the age of 84.
According to his son Oscar Kadenge, Joe Kadenge breathed his last in hospital, bringing an end to a life that had been marked by periods of hospitalization.
Throughout his illustrious career, Kadenge played for several clubs, including Maragoli United and Abaluhya United, where he won the Kenyan Premier League in 1966.
One of his most notable achievements was scoring one of the fastest goals in the Kenyan Premier League.
Joe Kadenge also had a stint as the manager of the Kenya national football team in 2002.
