On Sunday morning, Kenya lost a football icon, Joe Kadenge, who succumbed to illness while receiving treatment at The Nairobi Hospital.
Regarded for his exceptional skill and goal-scoring prowess, Kadenge enjoyed a revered status in Kenya, particularly during his time with Harambee Stars and AFC Leopards football teams between the 1950s and 1970s.
For a long time, Kadenge had been battling diabetes, often in and out of hospital.
