On July 7, 2019, Mama Dangote broke the silence on her son Diamond's wedding to Tanasha, which was initially set for Valentine's Day in February 2019 but was postponed to a later date.
According to Mama Dangote, the wedding has been titled 'Gatsby 707,' a theme chosen by Tanasha, who is of mixed heritage.
When asked about the wedding, Mama Dangote shared her excitement, saying, 'HIO IPO. (THAT'S ALREADY THERE)'. She also revealed that she first saw Tanasha on social media before her son introduced them.
Mama Dangote recalled, 'I STARTED SEEING PHOTOS EVEN BEFORE I MET HER. THEN SHE CAME TO THE HOUSE. SHE WAS SO AFRAID. I DON'T KNOW WHY.'
The two have since shown a tight family bond, with Tanasha often spending time at Mama Dangote's all-white decor home.
