Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is facing a daunting task as several aspirants in Ukambani are vying for the party's ticket to vie for the 2022 elections.
Among those who have expressed interest in joining the party are former Kitui Senator David Musila, who is seeking to unseat Governor Charity Ngilu in the upcoming general elections, and former Governor Julius Malombe, who is also eyeing the party's ticket to challenge Governor Ngilu.
However, Governor Ngilu has been seen to be moving closer to Kalonzo Musyoka, with other notable figures such as Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior, Makueni MP Rose Museo, and former KMTC Chairman Philip Kaloki also considering joining the party.
