South Africa's Faf Du Plessis led his team to a thrilling 10-run victory over Australia in the Cricket World Cup, denying the holders a chance to finish the group stage on top.
The match, played at Old Trafford, saw South Africa post a respectable 325-6, which Australia struggled to surpass in their run chase, eventually being restricted to 315 all out.
With this defeat, Australia had to settle for second place in the group table, setting up a semi-final clash against third-placed England.
Meanwhile, table-toppers India will face fourth-placed New Zealand in the other last-four encounter.
