On Saturday, July 6, 2019, Everton's squad, featuring international stars like Theo Walcott and Andre Gomes, touched down in Nairobi aboard a chartered flight.
The English Premier League side is set to engage in a series of Corporate Social Responsibility activities and open an Everton fans club in Nairobi.
Walcott, a former Arsenal striker, is a fan favorite in Kenya, while Gomes arrived at Everton from Barcelona in a Sh1.8 billion deal.
The squad includes goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg, English defender Leighton Baines, and Morgan Schneiderlin, who played alongside Victor Wanyama at Southampton.
