On Friday, a dramatic scene unfolded in Nairobi as 17 robbery suspects managed to escape from a moving police vehicle.
According to reports, the suspects had been arrested for robbery with violence and were being transported to an unknown location for detention before their arraignment in court.
Police have since launched a manhunt for the 17 suspects, who are believed to have fled the scene.
This incident comes just a few months after six other suspects escaped from a moving police vehicle in Migori County, where they were being transported to Migori GK Prison.
That incident saw the six suspects jump out of the vehicle and run into a nearby sugarcane plantation in Uriri area, with two of them being re-arrested hours later.
