Kenyan rapper Octopizzo has expressed his desire to return to church, but only if the pastors stop judging him based on his clothing. He made this statement during the Headspace254 event at the Kenya Cultural Centre on July 6, 2019.

Octopizzo feels that the church's focus on appearance hinders his ability to connect with God. He wants to go back to church and start praying, but not as a person 'packaged by pastors.'

"I do not go to church because I always feel judged but I want to go back and start praying to God, not as a person packaged by pastors."

Octopizzo has been open about his struggles with mental health, which he believes is a crucial issue affecting people from all walks of life. He has been using his music as a form of therapy to cope with his emotions.

During the event, Octopizzo shared his personal experiences with mental health, including the loss of his mother at 14 years old and the tragic death of a young boy who jumped off a house. He emphasized the importance of talking openly about mental health and suicide to help those struggling.

"The more we talk openly about suicide, the better equipped we will be to help people who are struggling with suicidal ideation and those directly affected by the loss of a loved one."

Octopizzo's message highlights the need for a more compassionate and understanding approach to mental health, particularly in the church community.
