July 2, 2019, marked a special moment for Tyler the Creator as he revealed his favourite song from his No.1 album IGOR on Twitter.
The album, which topped the Billboard charts, boasts an impressive list of guest appearances, including Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, Solange, Kanye West, and Jerrod Carmichael, among others.
When asked about his favourite song, Tyler chose NEW MAGIC WAND, a track that features Santigold, Asap Rocky, and an introduction from comedian Jerrod Carmichael.
According to Tyler, the standout moment on NEW MAGIC WAND is at 1:25, where he speaks at his highest volume, calling it his 'favorite moment I've made, purely based on feeling.' He also confessed that this is his favourite song he's made, saying it's 'so, Tyler: everything I've attempted in one, executed perfectly.'
With IGOR's success, Tyler's had a remarkable year so far, with a No.1 album, a thriving fashion line, and collaborations with top brands and artists.
