July 6, 2019, marked a significant milestone for Huawei as the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 officially hit retail stores across the country. This follows a highly successful one-week pre-order period, during which over 1000 devices were ordered through various partners, including Jumia Online and Lipa Later.
Among those attending the public launch at Two Rivers Mall were notable Kenyan celebrities, including King Kaka, Nick Mutuma, Jaymo Ule Msee, and Njugush. The event was also attended by Huawei Mobile Country President, Steven Li, who expressed gratitude to the company's partners for their role in meeting the pre-order target.
Speaking at the launch, Steven Li stated, “We would like to appreciate all our partners who ensured we meet the target during the pre-order period. We are also glad that consumers are still confident in our products as based on the number of pre-orders made across the country.”
Consumers can now purchase the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 at various retail stores, including The Hub Karen, TRM, Sarit Centre Mall, and The Junction Mall, among others. The public launch at Two Rivers Mall was followed by mall activations across the country.
