Published on July 5, 2019, Kariobangi Sharks has strengthened its squad by acquiring the services of Nzoia Sugar forward Patrick Otieno on a long-term deal.
Patrick Otieno, a talented Kenya U20 forward, had attracted interest from several clubs, including Bandari, Wazito FC, and KCB, before Kariobangi Sharks secured his services.
According to a statement posted on the club's official social media pages, Sharks have signed Otieno on a long-term contract, welcoming him to the team.
Sharks' new acquisition, Patrick Otieno, has been with Nzoia Sugar for several years, joining the team in 2017 while he was still a form three student at Bukembe Secondary School.
After completing his secondary education in 2018, Otieno joined Nzoia Sugar on a full-time basis.
Sharks will face Everton in an exhibition match at Moi International Sports Center Kasarani on Sunday, following their victory in the Sportpesa Cup final in Tanzania in January.
Additionally, Kariobangi Sharks have appointed former AFC Leopards midfielder Ezekiel Seda as their new assistant coach, replacing Charles Omondi who left the club a week ago.
