Uganda Cranes' goalkeeper Denis Onyango has expressed confidence in his team's ability to take on Senegal in their AFCON 2019 match, despite being considered underdogs.
Onyango, who is based in South Africa, stated that his team is well-prepared and ready to face any opponent, including Senegal.
He emphasized that Uganda Cranes will not be intimidated by their opponents and will give their best in the match.
Onyango's comments come after the team's players had expressed concerns over their treatment by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) regarding their salaries and allowances.
However, the issues have been resolved, and the team is now focused on their upcoming match against Senegal.
Onyango said, "Uganda Cranes will not be afraid of anyone. We will face Senegal with confidence and determination."
Uganda Cranes will be competing in the AFCON 2019 tournament, which is being held in Egypt, and will be looking to secure a spot in the quarterfinals.
