On July 5, 2019, Kenyan singer Dela Maranga tied the knot with her long-time lover Dr. Reign in a private ceremony at the Attorney General's chambers in Nairobi.
According to Dela, the couple chose to have a low-key wedding to avoid the drama and excessive spending that often comes with big weddings.
"Yes, I am finally married to Dr. Reign after our private wedding at Sheria House," Dela shared on Instagram, adding, "I think normal weddings have a lot of drama and spending for nothing. We did not want our friends to spend so much because of our day."
The singer and her husband, a pediatric doctor at Nairobi Hospital who also records music, were engaged for a year before exchanging their vows.
