On July 5, 2019, a dramatic scene unfolded on Loita Street as Benji Ndolo's Audi Q7 was repossessed by auctioneers.
According to Benji, however, the repossession was not due to a loan, but rather a dispute with the individuals who sold him the car.
"I don't have any loan," Benji stated. "Yes, I have seen the photo, I don't have a loan. But a loan is a non-issue because Kenya has a loan. I have a dispute with the guys who sold me the car, I have the log book in my office and the issue is in court."
Benji's account of events suggests that he was aware of the repossession attempt and managed to drive away from the scene, with the auctioneers in pursuit.
"The only things Benji was allowed to pick from the car were a phone charger and a bunch of bananas that were on the passenger's seat," a source revealed.
