July 5, 2019 - Jambojet, a regional low-cost airline, has made history by becoming the second Kenyan operator to achieve IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration. This prestigious recognition is a testament to the airline's commitment to maintaining global safety standards in its operations.

The IOSA program is an internationally recognized and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the safety, operational management, and control systems of an airline. The audit involves a meticulous evaluation of approximately 900 standards and recommended practices, covering eight functional and operational areas.

“Safety is a principal requisite in our industry. Our customers need the assurance that they can travel comfortably, affordably, and securely to any of our destinations. This registration is a testament to the effort we have put into ensuring the best operational and efficiency standards as a growing regional airline,” said Mr. Allan Kilavuka, Chief Executive Officer, Jambojet.

As the only operator after Kenya Airways to achieve IOSA registration in Kenya, Jambojet has demonstrated its dedication to providing a safe and reliable travel experience for its customers. The airline's commitment to safety is further reinforced by its recent award of the 2018 Bombardier Reliability Award for outstanding performance in dispatch reliability.
